According to the financial report for the fiscal year 2024, Nissan's global sales stood at 3.346 million units, affected by intensified sales competition. Nissan's total net revenue was 12.6 trillion yen (2.8 trillion baht), resulting in an operating profit of 69.8 billion yen (15 billion baht), representing an operating profit margin of 0.6%. The net loss was 670.9 billion yen (150 billion baht). Although both free cash flow and operating profit in the automotive business were negative, the net cash position of the automotive business stood at 1.498 trillion yen (330 billion baht).

For the entire fiscal year 2024, global sales totaled 3.346 million units, a decrease of 2.8% compared to the previous year. Sales in China dropped significantly by 12.2% due to intense competition with domestic car manufacturers. In the fourth quarter, global sales fell by 5.2%, with sales in China declining by 19.2%.

Nissan has revised its marketing strategy to align with the rapidly changing market landscape, focusing on strengthening popular models among its existing customer base while expanding its new product lineup to attract new customers. At the same time, it continues to maintain its brand identity through vehicles that reflect Nissan's DNA. For the Chinese market, the company will emphasize enhancing the capabilities of New Energy Vehicles (NEVs) and continue exporting vehicles produced and marketed in China to international markets to meet global demand. Additionally, Nissan is strengthening collaboration with its business partners—Renault, Mitsubishi Motors, and partners in China—to diversify its product offerings and enhance competitiveness in the global market.
