Mitsubishi is set to launch the new Delica Mini in autumn 2025, featuring sharper styling, upgraded technology, and a retuned suspension.
While the overall look retains the signature identity of its predecessor, a closer inspection reveals that nearly every exterior body panel has been redesigned. At the front, the semicircular LED headlights have been enlarged, the grille has been thickened with a protruding section around the emblem, and the Dynamic Shield front bumper now comes in body color, with revised air intakes and a more prominent lower skid plate. The hood, front fenders, and doors now have more sculpted lines, while the upper corner of the windshield has been moved forward by 115 mm, giving the vehicle a more upright stance. Another notable change is the solid D-pillar replacing the wraparound design of the previous model. At the rear, the new LED taillights, body-colored tailgate trim, and larger skid plate complete the update. Measuring 3,395 mm in length, the model remains compliant with Japan’s kei car regulations.
Inside, the cabin now features a 7-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch infotainment display integrated into the same panel. Premium-quality materials with beige trim give the interior a more upscale feel, along with improved sound insulation and more flexible seating configurations. Standard equipment includes a wider suite of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and a 3D Multi Around Monitor utilizing four cameras.
Although Mitsubishi has yet to announce the specifications for the new model, the current Delica Mini uses a 658 cc three-cylinder gasoline engine, producing 51 hp and 60 Nm of torque in naturally aspirated form, or 63 hp and 100 Nm in turbocharged form. Power is sent to either the front wheels (FWD) or all four wheels (4WD) via a CVT automatic transmission. The suspension features new Kayaba Prosmooth shock absorbers for improved ride comfort, with revised tuning for all models and specific adjustments for the 4WD version.
Five driving modes are available:
-
Power
-
Normal
-
Eco
-
Gravel
-
Snow
The body color lineup adds two new shades — Sand Beige Pearl and Denim Blue Pearl — both available in single-tone or two-tone configurations with a black roof.
Mitsubishi has also unveiled the new generation eK Space, which shares the same platform, chassis, and cabin design as the Delica Mini. However, it features a different front design, sits lower to the ground, and forgoes the protective cladding and skid plates. The eK Cross Space variant has been discontinued due to the significantly higher popularity of the Delica Mini.
The new Delica Mini will be priced between ¥1.95 million and ¥2.95 million (approximately 428,000–648,000 THB), while the eK Space will be priced between ¥1.75 million and ¥1.95 million (approximately 384,000–428,000 THB). Both models will go on sale in Japan in autumn 2025.
