Automotive media Carscoops has revealed spy shots of the BMW 5 Series LCI camouflaged while undergoing testing abroad. The car showcases a completely new front design as part of the major Neue Klasse makeover, marking a significant change for BMW.
The traditional Dual Kidney grille has been replaced with a new grille design that curves into the newly designed headlights. The bumper features a new central air intake, and the lower air intake has also been redesigned, now featuring a prominent vertical bar in the center. The rest of the design is similar to a traditional facelift, and we can expect to see new taillights and a revised rear bumper.
Inside, it is expected that this model will feature the Panoramic iDrive system and Operating System X, which were unveiled at CES. The customizable display sits beneath the windshield, divided into several sections. It is expected to be accompanied by a central infotainment system, as well as a new multifunction steering wheel that will replace the iDrive controller.
