Porsche unveils the 911 Spirit 70, a limited-edition convertible model that fully captures the atmosphere and charm of the 1970s and early 1980s. Only 1,500 units will be produced worldwide. This model stands out with a special color called “Olive Neo” and a classic interior featuring the iconic “Pasha” pattern, reflecting the identity of sports cars from that era.
The base model for the 911 Spirit 70 is the latest generation 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet. It features a newly developed 3.6-liter Boxer engine paired with the latest Performance Hybrid system, which includes a high-voltage electrical system, eTurbo, and an electric motor integrated into the PDK gearbox. The total output is 541 horsepower with a maximum torque of 610 Nm. The 911 Spirit 70 is now available for pre-order, with deliveries expected to begin in Europe from April 2025, followed by gradual releases in other markets.
Porsche has chosen the color “Bronzite,” a gray-gold tone, for various parts of the car such as the lower rear bumper, front fascia, and Sport Classic wheels. The soft top and windshield frame are black. The front hood features three black silk-gloss stripes inspired by 1970s safety decals, when sports car drivers often applied long body stripes for better visibility in rear-view mirrors. This decorative strip extends to the tone-on-tone fabric roof and includes side graphics with Porsche lettering and a black silk-gloss starting number circle, uniquely numbered for each car.
At the center of the hood is a Porsche Crest badge modeled after the classic 1963 design. The side fenders carry a gold “Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur” emblem, while the rear grille features a Porsche Heritage badge inspired by the logo on the Porsche 356. The Porsche lettering and model designation at the rear come in a reflective gold tone, finished with a galvanic gold-plated coating.
A key interior highlight of the 911 Spirit 70 is the classic Pasha pattern fabric in black/Olive Neo tones. The graphic design of the fabric draws inspiration from racing checkered flags. The Sports Seats Plus are 18-way adjustable, and the center console is upholstered in Pasha fabric. Customers can also choose optional Pasha accents behind the seat backrests and on the front dashboard panel. The interior is trimmed in genuine Club Leather in Basalt Black with Olive Neo stitching, which is a standard factory feature. The rear luggage compartment mat is reversible and also features the Pasha pattern.
The driver’s display is a high-resolution 12.65-inch fully digital panel with white needles and scale markings resembling an analog dial. The green numbers are inspired by the gauges of the Porsche 356. The Sport Chrono clock also comes with white hands and green numbers, designed exclusively for the 911 Spirit 70.
