Isuzu has unveiled the Isuzu D-Max V-Cross Commercial in the United Kingdom. This new variant builds upon the flagship V-Cross model, redesigned to meet the needs of professional users such as farmers, tradespeople, and construction workers who rely on their trucks both on the job site and on the road.
The exterior design remains largely similar to the regular D-Max V-Cross, featuring Bi-LED headlights, dark grey trim accents, and 18-inch alloy wheels. However, the Commercial version adds a lightweight bed canopy, along with a factory-fitted tow bar and bed liner for added practicality.
Inside, even though it retains the dual-cab body style (four doors), the cabin is configured as a two-seater, with the rear seat area converted into a secure cargo space. The rear windows are tinted, and the front seats come with protective covers. Isuzu says this conversion is permanent, allowing the truck to be properly registered as a commercial vehicle.
The model comes well-equipped with a 9-inch infotainment touchscreen, 7-inch digital instrument cluster, eight-speaker audio system, leather upholstery, heated seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, Rough Terrain mode, and a full suite of ADAS safety systems.
The ladder-frame chassis is identical to the passenger version, supporting a 1-ton payload and 3.5-ton towing capacity.
Power comes from a 1.9-liter turbo-diesel engine — the only powertrain offered in the UK — producing 164 hp and 360 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission and a four-wheel-drive system with rear differential lock. The more powerful 3.0-liter diesel engine is not available in this market.
The Isuzu D-Max V-Cross Commercial starts at £41,995 (approximately 1,841,000 THB), with customer deliveries in the UK and Northern Ireland set to begin in November. For comparison, the passenger V-Cross version is priced at £38,255 (around 1,676,000 THB).
