The seven-seater Xpeng X9 EREV has been revealed by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). It comes equipped with the Kunpeng Super Range Extender system and is expected to have a pure electric driving range of around 450 km. The official launch is scheduled for the fourth quarter.

Compared with the BEV version (length 5,293 mm), this model is 23 mm longer, while other dimensions remain unchanged.
The EREV system consists of a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine producing a maximum output of 110 kW (148 hp), paired with a lithium iron phosphate battery from CALB-Tech. Battery capacity and other powertrain details have not yet been disclosed. Based on the “450” badge on the left front door, this could indicate the vehicle’s pure electric range.
Xpeng also stated that more than 1,000 test vehicles have been deployed, covering over 20 countries and 330 cities worldwide for more than 800 days, with a total testing distance exceeding 20 million kilometers.
