Slate is a new electric pickup brand that emphasizes simplicity and a wide range of customization options — even allowing the vehicle to be transformed into an SUV.
The vehicle is built on a skateboard architecture and comes with two battery options: a 52.7 kWh pack offering an electric driving range of 241 kilometers, and a larger 84.3 kWh pack delivering a range of 386 kilometers. All models are rear-wheel drive, powered by a single rear-mounted electric motor producing 201 horsepower. The base model features a 5-foot bed, a NACS charging connector, a towing capacity of 453 kilograms, and a maximum payload of 635 kilograms. It supports 120 kW DC fast charging, allowing the battery to charge from 20% to 80% in approximately 30 minutes. There's also a frunk (front trunk) with a storage capacity of 200 liters.
The Slate offers extensive customization options, including body style, Slate logo design on the front grille, headlight styles, wheel sizes and patterns, partial color wraps, and even the ability to lift or lower the suspension. You can even choose to remove the doors entirely.

As for the interior, many features commonly found in modern EVs are stripped back. There’s no radio, no speakers, and no infotainment screen — just a simple dashboard with a small digital display and a basic steering wheel. The windows use manual winders, and a dedicated phone holder is mounted next to the steering wheel. However, customers can add various comfort and convenience features, such as steering wheel controls, floor mats, additional speakers, or even change the color of the climate control buttons.
