Rolls-Royce unveils the one-of-a-kind Phantom Dentelle, specially commissioned by a Middle Eastern client as a gift for their father. This precious project was curated through the Private Office Dubai.
The inspiration for this extraordinary Phantom came from haute couture lace, crafted using a rare ‘Leavers loom’ and featuring three-dimensional floral patterns with pearl-like details. The intricate textures and soft tones of the fabric formed the creative foundation for both the interior and exterior design. In this Phantom, the dashboard was specifically designed to showcase a Bespoke artwork. Designers created a floral composition inspired by the lace, using multiple embroidery techniques, varying thread densities, and delicate color gradients—such as Rose Gold, Sunrise, and Oatmeal—to recreate the textures of petals, ferns, and lacework. The embroidery’s base is formed with a triple-run stitch to create a fine mesh, over which satin stitching shapes the flowers with a lustrous, silk-like sheen, accented by raised details resembling pearls. This section alone contains more than 160,000 stitches.
The area between the rear seats continues the floral theme, featuring embroidery that echoes the botanical patterns of the Gallery, with approximately 70,000 stitches. The speaker grilles are finished in Rose Gold to complement the embroidery tones. The cabin is upholstered in Sunrise and Grace White leather, with embroidered ‘RR’ monograms on the front and rear headrests, and finished with Piano White veneer panels.
Phantom Dentelle comes in a Bespoke two-tone exterior. The lower body is finished in Crystal over Arctic White, while the upper body features Crystal over Palais Nemasker Dawn—a color reserved exclusively for this commissioning client. Twin coachlines in Sunrise conclude with a hand-painted motif of leafy branches and pearl-like berries, mirroring the artistic theme of the interior.
This masterpiece rides on fully polished 22-inch Disc wheels with body-colored centers and Arctic White pinstripes. The polished Pantheon Grille is crowned with the Spirit of Ecstasy in Rose Gold, with matching Bespoke treadplates engraved in the same precious metal.
