The electric off-road Ford Bronco from the JMC-Ford joint venture has officially launched in China with a starting price of 229,800 yuan (approximately 1,027,000 baht). Measuring around 5 meters in length, the model is equipped with up to 31 advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) sensors and is available in both fully electric (BEV) and extended-range electric (EREV) variants.

This electric Ford Bronco was developed specifically for the Chinese market to compete with rugged NEV crossovers. Pre-orders opened on November 18, with official sales beginning on December 19.
In terms of design, the electric Ford Bronco retains a look closely aligned with the petrol-powered Bronco Sport, featuring a boxy body, large headlights, retractable headlights, and a roof-mounted LiDAR sensor.
The interior adopts a five-seat layout. The top-spec version offers electrically adjustable and heated rear seats, while the front seats feature both heating and ventilation. Cargo capacity reaches up to 497 liters, and the BEV version adds a 160-liter front trunk. The center console is fitted with a 15.6-inch touchscreen, a digital instrument cluster, and a massive 70-inch AR head-up display. Standard equipment includes a 7.5-liter refrigerator, a 21-speaker audio system, 10 airbags, and a panoramic sunroof. The infotainment system is powered by a Snapdragon 8255 chip, while the ADAS setup uses up to 31 sensors supported by two Nvidia Orin X chips, delivering a combined computing power of 508 TOPS.
For the powertrain, the BEV version uses dual electric motors producing a combined output of 451 horsepower, paired with a 105.4 kWh LFP battery that provides a driving range of up to 650 km under the CLTC standard. The EREV variant features a 1.5-liter petrol engine producing 150 horsepower that acts as a range extender, combined with a 43.7 kWh BYD Blade Battery. It offers an electric-only range of 220 km (CLTC), while dual electric motors generate a combined 421 horsepower, with a total driving range of up to 1,220 km.
The dimensions of the Ford Bronco EV are as follows: overall length of 5,025 mm, width of 1,960 mm, height of 1,825 mm, wheelbase of 2,950 mm, minimum ground clearance of 220 mm, an approach angle of 30 degrees, and a departure angle of 32 degrees.
