Ford is preparing to launch the new Ford Territory in markets across South America, Southeast Asia, and South Africa, with sales set to begin in Brazil in July 2025 under the name "Novo Territory."
The new Ford Territory is essentially a rebranded version of the Ford Equator Sport, which is sold in China. The exterior has been updated to appear more modern, featuring angular bumpers, a black grille, the blue Ford logo with white lettering, L-shaped LED headlights with daytime running lights, and 19-inch alloy wheels. Chrome accents adorn the body, and the vehicle measures 4,630 mm in length.
Inside, the cabin is decorated in gray and brown tones, with electrically adjustable ventilated leather seats and a panoramic sunroof. Standard features include a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a matching 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, Ford Co-Pilot 360 driver-assist technology including automatic parking assist, a rotary gear selector, and wireless smartphone charging.
Under the hood, the vehicle retains a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine producing 167 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission driving the front wheels. In Brazil, the Territory is offered in a single Titanium Turbo EcoBoost trim, priced at 215,001 Brazilian reais, approximately 1.28 million Thai baht.
