Ford Australia has launched the Everest Black Edition, a special limited-run model with only 750 units available. Based on the Everest Trend 2.0L Bi-Turbo 4WD, it features a full blacked-out styling package and is priced at AUD 68,990 (approximately 1.45 million THB). Pre-orders are now open, with the first deliveries set for July.

Black Edition styling package includes:

• Black roof rails

• Black side steps

• 18-inch black alloy wheels with 255/65R18 all-terrain tyres

• 18-inch black alloy spare wheel

• Black front grille

• “EVEREST” lettering on the bonnet and black door sill plates

• Black side mirrors and black door handles

However, Ford plans to discontinue the 2WD versions of the Ambiente and Sport variants by the end of this month, due to new federal New Vehicle Efficiency Standard (NVES) regulations. As a result, the Everest lineup will shrink from eight variants to six.

The Black Edition is powered by a 2.0-litre Bi-Turbo diesel engine producing 206 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. It features a full-time 4WD system with selectable modes: 2H, 4A, 4H, and 4L. Additional capabilities include a locking rear differential and multiple drive modes such as Normal, Eco, Tow/Haul, Slippery, Mud/Ruts, and Sand. The vehicle also boasts a water wading depth of 800mm and ground clearance of 229mm.
