Ford has unveiled the 2027 Ford Bronco RTR, which has been designed to deliver off-road performance comparable to the Bronco Raptor, but without using the large 3.0-liter engine.
In standard form, the Bronco RTR comes equipped with a high-clearance suspension and 33-inch tires. Ford also offers an optional Sasquatch package, which is expected to be highly popular. This package adds larger 35-inch tires along with the HOSS 3.0 off-road suspension system and FOX internal bypass shock absorbers.
Ford will offer the Bronco RTR with a single powertrain option: a 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine. The company has also fitted a high-output 1,000-watt cooling fan, the same unit used in the Bronco Raptor, and added an anti-lag system to ensure the turbocharger can build boost rapidly at all times.
The Bronco RTR features new wheel designs, Hyper Lime accent details, side graphics, redesigned wheel arches, a blacked-out front bumper, and an Avalanche Gray exterior color option.
Ford has not yet announced official pricing for the Bronco RTR, stating only that it “won’t break the bank.” Order books are scheduled to open in October.
