Avatr 12 MY2025 adds options and expands powertrain choices.

Avatr has officially launched the 2025 model of the Avatr 12, featuring new sub-variants. Powertrains are available in both pure electric (EV) and extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) configurations. A new interior color called “Dai Red,” inspired by traditional Chinese colors, has been added. The 20-inch “Spinning Blade” wheels, previously popular on the Avatr 11, are now available as an optional feature. The Ultra variant also comes with a smart electric door set and front door welcome logo lights. The exterior still features hidden door handles, an electric lifting rear spoiler, and slim tail lights.

Inside the cabin, there is a wide 35.4-inch panoramic 4K display and a 15.6-inch central screen powered by the Harmony OS. All models are equipped with front zero-gravity seats offering heating, ventilation, and massage functions. Rear passengers enjoy a floating canopy screen and fully functional seats, along with around 1 meter of legroom. The interior uses premium materials such as Nappa leather, suede-like fabric, and natural solid wood. As there is no rear window, all models come standard with a camera-based streaming rearview mirror.

The Avatr 12 is equipped with the Huawei Qiankun ADS 3.0 intelligent driving system, featuring a triple long-range LiDAR setup with a 300-degree horizontal and 25-degree vertical field of view, and a detection range of up to 150 meters on the sides. The vehicle has a total of 29 sensors. The system supports parking assistance and includes the Huawei Qiankun omnidirectional collision avoidance system (CAS 3.0), which supports full-speed automatic emergency braking (AEB) and fusion perception obstacle avoidance.

The 2025 Avatr 12 is built on an 800V platform. The EREV variant uses a motor with a maximum output of 309 horsepower, offering an electric-only range of about 245 km (CLTC standard) and a combined range of up to 1,155 km. The pure electric rear-wheel-drive (RWD) model uses a single motor with 237 kW of power and has a CLTC range of 755 km. The pure electric all-wheel-drive (AWD) variant is powered by the latest generation motors, with a front motor output of 221 hp and rear motor output of 318 hp, delivering a combined output of 439 hp and 687 Nm of torque. It can accelerate from 0–100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and offers a CLTC electric range of 705 km.
