Toyota has unveiled C-HR BEV, expanding its electric vehicle lineup. It’s expected to launch in the U.S. by 2026 and will be offered in two trims: entry-level SE and top-tier XSE.
C-HR features Toyota’s signature Hammerhead grille, a design element now seen across multiple models. The body is more angular than before, especially at the rear, echoing styling cues from the bZ series. A full-width LED taillight adds to its modern look. The cabin closely resembles that of bZ4X, with a raised digital gauge cluster mounted above the dashboard. A large 14-inch touchscreen infotainment system supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and sits alongside dual wireless charging pads in the center console. A 6-speaker audio system comes standard, with an optional JBL Premium Audio system offering 9 speakers, an 800-watt 8-channel amplifier, and a 9-inch subwoofer.
Built on Toyota’s dedicated e-TNGA platform, C-HR comes standard with all-wheel drive, powered by front and rear eAxles. It uses a 74.7-kWh lithium-ion battery, producing a total of 338 horsepower. Acceleration from 0–100 km/h takes about 5 seconds, with an estimated range of 466 kilometers per charge. Paddle shifters behind the steering wheel let drivers adjust regenerative braking through four levels.
