NISSAN AUSTRALIA has released the first teaser for the All-New Nissan Navara, confirming its world premiere in Australia on November 19, 2025!
The new Navara will be based on the same platform as the All-New Mitsubishi Triton. The teaser images show that the differences between the Nissan Navara and Mitsubishi Triton will be minimal — mostly in the bumpers and lighting details rather than in the main body panels.
The Navara shares its cabin structure, bonnet, doors, windows, and rear wheel arches with the Triton. It features a single LED daytime running light strip instead of Triton’s three-line design, while the main headlights retain the same shape and size. The C-shaped tail lights are newly designed, and the rear sports bar is unique to Nissan.
Inside, the only part revealed in the teaser video is the engine start button, which appears to be identical to the one in the Triton.
It remains to be seen how many of the Triton’s systems will be carried over to the Navara, including Mitsubishi’s signature Super Select 4WD system.
As for powertrain, the Navara is expected to use the 2.4-litre twin-turbo diesel engine from the Triton. However, Nissan insists that this new-generation pickup will be more than just a rebadged Mitsubishi, promising its own distinct Nissan identity.
