The new Nissan Navara, which has been retuned and slightly restyled from the Mitsubishi Triton, has officially been priced for the Australian market. It is scheduled to go on sale in March 2026.

Nissan has collaborated with Premcar, which previously developed the tougher Warrior versions of the outgoing Navara, to jointly develop, test, and tune the suspension of the new pickup. The variant lineup has been significantly reduced compared to the previous Navara, with single-cab, King Cab, cab/chassis, manual transmission, and rear-wheel-drive variants discontinued. Instead, there are four variants, all offered exclusively as dual-cab pickups with four-wheel drive and automatic transmission.

The new Navara is powered by a 2.4-litre four-cylinder twin-turbo diesel engine, shared with the Triton, but there are no rear-wheel-drive or manual transmission options. All variants come with a six-speed automatic transmission and offer two four-wheel-drive systems, both featuring a dual-range transfer case and a locking rear differential. The rear suspension has changed from coil springs to leaf springs, similar to the Triton, but has been specially tuned for the Australian market.
