GAC-Toyota has officially revealed images of the bZ7, a 100% electric sedan, with plans to debut it later this year. The car measures over 5.1 meters in length and comes equipped with Huawei’s HarmonyOS cockpit and electric drive system. It is also expected to be the first vehicle to be integrated into Xiaomi’s ecosystem.
GAC-Toyota has announced partnerships with Huawei, Momenta, and Xiaomi. The bZ7 will be the first model to integrate into Xiaomi’s “Human x Car x Home” ecosystem, which connects personal devices, smart home products, and cars. Users will be able to perform functions such as controlling the home air conditioner directly from the car’s central screen.
The front design adopts a closed face with C-shaped headlights. A LiDAR unit is installed on the roof to support Momenta’s advanced driver assistance system. On the side, the bZ7 features a fastback profile combined with an elongated triangular C-pillar window, frameless doors, semi-hidden door handles, multi-spoke alloy wheels wrapped in 255/40R21 tires, and a ducktail-style rear spoiler.
The vehicle is powered by an electric motor supplied by Huawei, producing a maximum output of 207 kW (278 hp) with a top speed of 180 km/h. It is paired with a lithium iron phosphate battery from CALB-Tech, though specific capacity and driving range details have not yet been announced.
Inside, the cabin comes with a three-spoke steering wheel, a trapezoidal instrument panel, a central control screen, ambient lighting, and wireless smartphone charging. Detailed screen dimensions and configuration specifications are still pending official confirmation.
