Lexus has revealed a new sports car concept at Monterey Car Week, standing out with futuristic design and advanced technology. This model is not just a showpiece, but also points to the direction of the brand’s next-generation performance cars.
Compared to the 2021 Electrified Sport Concept, this new version looks much closer to a production-ready vehicle. It features a low-slung body, long hood, large alloy wheels, and a flowing roofline that blends classic sports car proportions with grand tourer elegance. At the front, L-shaped LED headlights are seamlessly integrated with the air intakes. Hidden diamond-shaped DRLs only appear when lit, while the sharp lower bumper and sculpted fenders replace the traditional spindle grille, giving the car a more aggressive and athletic look. From the side, air vents behind the front wheels and the C-pillar recall the legendary LFA. The flying buttress-style roofline channels air to an active rear spoiler, while the rear end features a full-width LED light bar with an illuminated Lexus emblem. A large diffuser and F1-style center brake light complete the motorsport-inspired design.
The interior has yet to be fully revealed, but glimpses show a digital instrument cluster, yoke-style steering wheel, and a roof structure housing four cooling fans flanking an illuminated central fin.
Although specifications have not been released, the absence of exhaust pipes strongly indicates an electric powertrain. A production version is expected around 2026, likely replacing the current Lexus LC, while carrying forward the spirit of the V10-powered LFA. Lexus is also considering a simulated manual gearbox to enhance driving engagement.
